Executive Director

Tracy Broyles is responsible for setting Spiral Q’s vision and strategic direction and ensuring its success as a high performing sustainable organization that is well respected in its field. Broyles has over twenty years experience in non-profit administration and program development, designing and administering youth development programs, alternative incarceration programs, and professional theater training programs for urban youth. In addition, Broyles brings a professional background in stage performance, street theater, parade arts, and circus with her long-standing commitment to social change to the organization. Broyles holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia. Broyles succeeded the founding director and in eight years attracted national funders, cultivated a team of highly respected staff, and developed an award winning education program. Broyles currently sits on the executive committee of the board of directors of Alternate ROOTS.
